Hurricane Ditcher Company serves professional farmers as well as state and county municipalities. We are a manufacturer of quality ditching, terracing and waterway management equipment.

Hurricane Ditcher is a family owned business and was founded in 1984 by Paul M. Snyder and his son, John L. Snyder. The original facility was a small shop located in Carlisle, Indiana. Over the years, the company has expanded their production capacity and moved to Vincennes, Indiana where they occupy nearly 22,000 sf and employ 18 full-time employees.

In response to customer feedback and demand, Hurricane Ditcher currently manufactures a product line of 11 different ditchers, terracers, and waterway machines.

To effectively meet customer demand, Hurricane Ditcher established a network of authorized dealers and distributors to service our customer base. This network has grown to over 200 locations across the United States and Canada.

Now in our 36th year of operation Hurricane Ditcher has ditchers in 31 states and 10 countries worldwide. In these times of corporate takeovers and struggles, Hurricane Ditcher is proud to be family owned and operated and will strive to continue to manufacture the most efficient, highest quality ditching, terracing, and waterway equipment available.
